Avec la version M, cette spécificité était encore accentuée puisque le bloc XK de 3.4L passait à 190 cv SAE et Jaguar s'attribuait, grâce à ce modèle, la victoire au Rallye Monte Carlo 1956 ! L'exemplaire présenté a été vendu neuf en Angleterre et fut immatriculé le 25 mars 1956.
Il est équipé de la boîte automatique Borg Wagner optionnelle et offre une combinaison de couleurs particulièrement seyante : noir brillant et sellerie en cuir rouge.
