Basée sur la barquette Hommell, elle fût imaginée par Philippe-Charles Toussaint et ses associés pour courir le Stars Challenge, compétition réservée aux célébrités.
Un total de 16 exemplaires furent construits et coururent la saison 2000, puis, en 2001, la formule fut arrêtée alors qu'il ne subsistait plus que 15 exemplaires.
Les associés se partagèrent les voitures restantes.
C'est en 2006 que l'actuel propriétaire, célèbre commentateur de grand prix de Formule 1 et ancien présentateur d'Auto-Moto, acheta cet exemplaire à la société de Christophe Collaro, un des créateurs du Stars Challenge.
