1925 CITROEN C3 CABRIOLET - NO RESERVE Châssis n° 75635 Partisan du type unique en 1919, André Citroën décide très vite de proposer un modèle plus petit construit selon les mêmes lignes.
Celle qui deviendra la célèbre 5 HP est lancée au Salon de Paris 1921 sous la forme d'une petite torpédo dite Type C qui évoluera en C2 pour 1923 (avec un châssis renforcé) et en C3 (empattement allongé) pour 1925.
Celle-ci est proposée en torpédo et en cabriolet deux places ainsi qu'en torpédo trois places en trèfle.
Le cabriolet a un habitacle légèrement reculé (auvent plus long), un pare-brise à deux glaces dont une fixe en partie basse et des glaces latérales montantes.
Le succès de la C3 (30 000 unités produites en 1925) n'empêchera pas André Citroën de la supprimer en mai 1926.
Sa facilité de conduite, sa robustesse et sa longévité deviendront légendaires et certaines rouleront encore au quotidien plus de vingt-cinq ans après leur sortie d'usine.
