This attractive Morris Minor 1000 was professionally converted into a convertible by ESM Morris Minors in 1993.
Finished in Trafalgar Blue with a matching grey/blue interior, the car still presents nicely and the vendor tells us that it starts and runs well.
In 1998, it received a major engine rebuild with an unleaded head, together with a new clutch and gearbox refurbishment.
It also comes with a hood cover. Usability is improved by the addition of electronic ignition, a front anti-roll bar, sealed beam headlamps, negative earth conversion, a spin-on oil filter and an FM radio cassette player.
It also sits on larger wheels and tyres than standard.
The vendor took ownership in 2019, and since then it has received a new timing chain and tensioner, new carpets, and the carb has been overhauled.
