Description
No Reserve.
1593cc petrol, 4-speed manual.
This blue Ford Cortina L saloon has had only 2 former keepers and is sold as a project, having spent some time off the road.
It's believed to be a matching numbers example that spent 36 years with its second owner, up to 2020.
The vendor reports that the gearbox and clutch feel good and the engine runs well, benefitting from a Weber carburettor and a new alternator and belt, plus an upgraded battery.
The blue cloth interior is nicely preserved, featuring an original radio and vintage Amstrad speakers, with 45,183 miles showing on the odometer. The car seems to have had a respray at some stage, but structural repairs are now due.
It's supplied with its current V5C and an original ‘operating guide’ pamphlet. NOTICE TO BUYERS: Please be aware that all lots are sold as seen and without any warranty implied or given.
You must satisfy yourself as to a lot's description and condition before you decide to bid.
