This rare Triumph 1800 Roadster dates from early 1947 and presents in superb overall condition.

According to a previous advert for this car in 2016, it received a high quality, full body renovation the previous year, in 2015.

This involved having its aluminium and steel panels sandblasted and the ash frame renovated.

All the brightwork was re-chromed, and the Standard engine was "cleaned and renovated".

The interior upholstery was also renewed, along with the soft top.

The vendor bought the car in 2019 and tells us it has been garaged ever since its restoration, seeing only occasional use for shows and outings, bringing the odometer to 55,061 miles.

It's fitted with a stainless steel exhaust and a new electric fuel pump, and comes supplied with various spare door rubbers and gear linkage joints.

Unfortunately there are no surviving maintenance receipts, but the V5C is present and indicates 5 former keepers.

The registration number is non-transferable.
