This Ford Cortina 2000 XL is an unfinished project, bought by the vendor’s late husband in 1979 and taken off the road in the 1990s.

It was stripped back to a bare shell, welding repairs were carried out and the engine was converted to EFI, but the project never saw completion. The vendor tells us that all parts necessary to rebuild the car are believed to be present and have been dry stored, and some additional spares are also included.

The history file contains its VIN plate, a few old MoT certificates from the 1980s and '90s, a couple of photos of the car before it’s stripped down, and its V5C which indicates only 2 former keepers.
