This beautiful Jaguar XK140 FHC has been owned by the vendor since 2007.

He purchased it as a project from an owner on Jersey and embarked on a six-year, nut-and-bolt restoration, with involvement from many specialists.

This included a professional leather re-trim, new rear springs and gaiters, high-torque starter motor, XK150 front discs, all-new burr walnut veneer a twin stainless exhaust system, and a respray in the car's original shade of Birch Grey.

Since then the car has remained in the vendor's collection of XKs and seen little use.Ongoing refurbishments have included a new steering rack (2019), carburettor rebuilding (2021) and a gearbox rebuild by Klassik Transmission.

Within the last 300 miles it has also received new piston rings, and the cylinder head has been rebuilt with C-type big valves.
