This award-winning Mk1 Mini Cooper S starred on the cover of Mini World magazine, following its expert restoration by JD Classics in 2017.

That same year it won 1st prize at the Mini Cooper Register's National Mini Day concours competition at Beaulieu.The accompanying Heritage Certificate shows that it was originally built in LHD for the North American market, finished in Tartan Red and Black with a red & gold interior, despatched to New York on 13th May 1966.

It returned to the UK from sunny California in 2013, and changed hands in 2016 for over £50,000.

Restoration by JD Classics involved conversion to RHD, a full retrim, and a lovely respray in the Mini's original colours.

Since its return to the UK it has passed 3 MoTs (the latest in 2018), all with no advisories.
