This Mini Thirty's history file shows that the it has had a John Cooper conversion from new.

This conversion retained the original 998cc engine but added a balanced, polished and gas flowed head, larger inlet and exhaust valves and a 9:8:1 compression ratio, it is also designed to run on unleaded petrol.

Twin SU Carburettors with K & N filters are also fitted to a alloy inlet manifold.

The conversion is completed with the fitting of a alloy rocker cover.

Power is increased from the standard 43 BHP to 60 BHP.
