This lovely red Austin Allegro is offered for sale by a club member who owns 7 other Allegros.

He describes it as “a very solid example which is well known to Allegro Club International.

This is a rare 1500 Special which has had all the hard work done.” It was first registered on 20th June 1975.

Although there is no maintenance history with the car, it does come with a detailed description of works completed since he bought the car in 2024, as follows: Fuel tank was rotten and has been replaced with a good one.

Fuel sender unit has been replaced with a good one.

The entire braking system has been stripped down and replaced with brand new parts: brake shoes, pads, fitting kit, hydraulic hoses, and slave cylinders.

Master cylinder stripped, cleaned, and its seals replaced.

Servo has had external cleaning.

Front brake calipers stripped, cleaned, and all seals replaced.

The pistons replaced with stainless steel Bigg Red items.
