Condition

6

The car is described as running and driving well, which suggests it's mechanically functional. There are records of reconditioning work, such as the rebuilt speedometer, reconditioned carburettor and chrome plating, which indicates that the car needed some work doing and is not in pristine condition. The mileage is relatively low, but wear and tear on the exterior, interior, and/or wheels is likely given its age.

This 1950 Rover 75 is an early P4 model, the first coming out in 1949.

These earlier cars were fitted with a single central fog lamp which gave it the nickname of ‘Cyclops’ and this particular example is described by our vendor as running and driving well.

Previously featured in Classic World Magazine.

Invoices on file include chrome plating in 2016 and 2018, recondition carburettor in 2017, electrical work in 2017 and a rebuilt speedometer in 2021.

The P4 comes with some MoT certificates dating back to 1987, buff log book (indicates an engine change to 2638cc), copy of an older V5 and current V5.
