This Mk1 Ford Zephyr, with beige/green paintwork and a red leather interior, was imported from Ireland in 1983.

The vendor tells us it has been well looked after throughout its life, although sadly there are no receipts to prove it.

We are told it was serviced with new oil filter, plugs and points by the previous owner who had the car for three or four years until the present keeper took ownership in July.

The odometer reads 92,934 miles.

The car is reportedly running very smoothly, starts reliably and was recently taken on a 40-mile trip with zero issues.

Other than the radio, which is untested, the vendor tells us that "everything is working as it should".

It comes with a copy of a book, “The Big Fords”, which features this car on the front cover, and a medal which the car won at a car show.

The V5C indicates 8 former keepers since its first registration in the UK in November 1983.
