Our vendor acquired this 1978 Ford Escort 1.3L in October 2024 after it had not been used for many years and in storage since August 1993.

It has been checked over and there are no signs of any bodywork or chassis repairs.

The car is running and driving but currently has a clutch issue.

The locking fuel cap was removed to enable refueling; it has also had a new battery and oil and filter.

The Ford was registered in January 1978 and has five registered keepers recorded on its V5C.

The odometer shows 48,909 miles.

There's no MoT; as an historic vehicle, the Ford will now be exempt from testing although the V5C will need to be updated with the DVLA to reflect this.

Paperwork includes the current V5C, original V5 and an October 2024 invoice for £274.28 for the work to get it running again.
