This is a Volvo with a big difference.
It has been converted to a dragster although, for the last 20 years, it has been on display in the showroom of now-closed Volvo specialist C P Motors near Tamworth, Staffordshire.
The 760 GLE was originally registered in January 1988 and has six registered keepers recorded on its V5C.
Its odometer shows 1113 miles and its Mo
T is valid until September 2025.
It features a 6276cc V8 engine from a Jensen Interceptor (set well back in the engine bay so the car is almost mid-engined) along with a Jensen gearbox, prop and rear axle.
