This rare Datsun 240K Skyline GT Coupe was a UK-supplied car from new, registered in March 1979, and one of only 3000 that came to Europe.

Today, it is one of only 10 registered in the UK, with some of those presumed as later imports.

According to the vendor, the engine is all-original and runs smoothly, having covered only around 2500 miles since 2006.

During that time, it has been serviced and maintained, and kept away from any rain.

The vendor has known the car since it was four years old, and was purchased 30 years ago.

There was a minor restoration 20 years ago, which included new OEM front wings, sills, and right-hand door skin plus a new clutch, front suspension, rear shocks and exhaust system.

The car was fully resprayed in a Subaru blue (which will need to be updated with the DVLA as the V5C still shows it as its original green), along with a stonechip base coat in lower areas, with the underside and engine bay Waxoyled throughout.
