Description
The critically‑acclaimed BBC psychological crime drama Luther, first broadcast in 2010, helped turn Idris Elba into an internationally famous star for his portrayal of DCI John Luther.
One of Luther's trademarks was his love of old Volvos; in the first series, he drove a 240, and returned to that model for the fifth series.
However, the big Swedish bruiser that got the most on‑screen time with Idris was the pale metallic blue 1990 740 GL he drove in series two, three and four.
H654 WKH is the Luther Volvo, registered in August 1990.
