Forever associated with Jim Bergerac's crime‑busting antics in the hit BBC TV series of the 1980s and early 1990s, one of the Triumph Roadster's other claims to fame is that it was the last British car to feature a dickey seat.

This 1947 example has been converted from column change to floor change (to a very professional standard), although the original bits will be sold with the car.

The vendor reports that the car was restored from 2001 to 2003 ‑ including having all its woodwork renewed ‑ and was then used for shows and pleasure trips, including a a few visits to Jersey and, on one memorable occasion, ferrying John Nettles ‑ Jim Bergerac himself ‑ around when he opened the BBC Radio Norfolk show.
