Based on the boxy Fiat 128 saloon but with more stylish, fastback styling, the 128 Coupe Sport offered sporty performance in a diminutive but practical package.
Survivors are rare these days, with this one believed to be the only right‑hand drive 1300 SL in the UK.
In oh‑so‑Seventies Positano Yellow, with black interior and 74bhp 1290cc engine, this Fiat has had five registered keepers.
The fourth acquired the car in 1989, but after some engine problems, it was garaged in 1992 and didn't re‑emerge until 2009.
After an engine rebuild, it was treated to a full body restoration, which was completed in April 2011, with the owner at the time stating that 'it was restored with a view to originality while keeping some of the patina'.
