- The Kyalami was presented at the 1976 Geneva Motor Show at a time when Maserati was on the verge of bankruptcy.
Bought out earlier by Alejandro De Tomaso, it was decided to adopt the formula of the elegant Longchamp, signed by Frua, for this model.
- The Kyalami also gets an "in-house" V8 double camshaft, more noble, and available in two versions, 4.2 l and 4.9 l.
- The history of our example, a 4.2 version, dates back to 1988, when the current owner acquired it.
The file contains invoices since then, and is always accompanied by its Uso e manutenzione booklet.
- Since then, the car has always been maintained and used, notably for rallies with the Maserati France club.
