It was in 1976 that the first prototype was unveiled, intended to restore the prestige of the Lagonda brand, now part of Aston Martin.

Lagonda’s real career began with the Series 2, named as such after only seven examples of the Series 1 had been produced.

The car’s modernity, beyond its incredible lines, lay in its on-board technology with electronic controls and digital instrumentation.

Its structure was derived from the AM V8 with a completely different exterior.

Luxury was an integral part of the car’s DNA with its Connolly leather interior and burr walnut trim.
The development and refinement of the car took two years.


Lagondas were built entirely by hand, requiring nearly 2,200 hours of manual labour.

The V8 was coupled with a three-speed
