AI Listing Summary
This 1969 Alfa Romeo GTAm (R) is a rebuilt, race-prepared example with a French historic registration. It boasts a strong racing history, including participation in the Tour Auto, and features a modified engine with Spica injection. While not fully original (steel doors, single ignition), it's presented as ready to race, though sold without a roadworthiness certificate.

Condition
7
While described as 'perfectly prepared, ready to race', the car's condition is difficult to assess fully from the description. The mention of a 'very well executed original Italian rebuild' and successful track record suggests careful maintenance and performance focus. However, being 'sold without contrôle technique' (roadworthiness certification) introduces uncertainty. Further, doors being steel rather than aluminum as per the original GTAm indicates a deviation from original spec, which may impact value. Given the racing focus and modifications, a rating of 'Very Good' seems appropriate, assuming no major undisclosed issues.

It also received dual ignition, and its displacement was increased to 1,985 and then 1,995 cc to compete in the less than 2-liter class, enabling it to develop 240 hp at 7,500 rpm in its most advanced version.
As regulations imposed a minimum weight of 900 kg, the GTAm was not overweight, but the front and rear hoods were made of ...
