Once again, the answer was a genuine Citroën, innovative, beautiful and original: the GS, star of the Paris Motor Show and voted Car of the Year in 1971! Robert Opron quickly put himself in Flaminio Bertoni's shoes to respect the brand's DNA.

It was one of the first Citroëns to make its mark on numerous international markets, with a total production volume of 1,896,742 units! At the time, the 1220 Club was the most upmarket model before the arrival of the Pallas in 1976.
