Delivered new in France in April 1965, it is extremely rare, as it was produced only from spring of that year for a single model year! Instantly recognizable, it features rare “sombrero” striped wheel covers, two additional long-range iodine headlights, chrometrimmed indicators, stainless steel side moldings with light gray rubber inserts, stainless steel trim on both the upper and lower door edges, and a Triplex windshield.

The brushed aluminum C-pillar panels are no longer striped and bear the raised DS inscription.

Inside, the upholstery received special attention, with thicker padded seats in luxurious Nylon velvet.
