The 505 Pick-up double cabin was presented by Gruau in 1984 at the Paris Motor Show.

This vehicle, based on the station wagon version of the Peugeot 505, offered the possibility to transport people and equipment at the same time.

After cutting out the rear sheet metal and tailgate, a long and meticulous bodywork process gave the vehicle a new skin.

A window was also integrated in the partition wall, allowing the loading to be controlled.

This arrangement allowed the vehicle to keep its four doors, its rear bench and its five seats, but also to gain a platform offering a surface of 1.37 m x 1.44 m for a load capacity of 675 kg.

The platform could be offered with a one-piece molded polyester hard top or with a tarpaulin mounted on removable hoops.
