En 1969, la firme sochalienne présente une petite berline à mi-chemin entre la populaire 204 et la luxueuse 504 : la 304.
Elle sera très vite déclinée en quatre versions différentes : une berline, un coupé, un cabriolet et un break.
La production prendra fin en 1980 avec 1 178 425 exemplaires fabriqués, elle sera remplacée par la 305.
La 304 que nous présentons est une version break mise en circulation le 10 juillet 1972.
Cette auto se trouve aujourd’hui dans son jus, sa peinture verte métallisée est certainement celle d’origine.
