Since the appearance of the 250 GTE, Ferrari has always offered in its catalogue a luxurious and Grand Touring model intended more for the road than for the circuits.
Based on a concept of a 2+2 coupé with sedan dimensions, the 365 GT4 2+2, with its characteristic shapes, appeared in 1972.
In 1985, after the 365 GT4, the 400 and then the 400i, it was the 412 that took up the timeless design signed Pininfarina.
