Every Model
Valiant, a Chrysler brand, debuted in 1960 for the 1961 model year.
It was conceived as a smaller, fuel-efficient car to compete with imports.
Initially, it was marketed as a separate make, not a Chrysler.
The Valiant was known for its distinctive styling and the slant-six engine.
A fun fact: In 1966, a Valiant paced the Indy 500, a rare honor for a compact car.
