Every Model
Unic, a French car maker, was founded in 1904.
Georges Richard and Henri de Rothschild created it.
Initially, it produced light cars and taxis.
Unic became known for reliable vehicles.
Citroën acquired Unic in 1934.
Later, it focused on commercial vehicles.
In 1952, Unic merged with Simca.
Fiat later took control.
The marque disappeared in the mid-1970s.
Few know Unic supplied taxis in Paris.
These taxis were vital during WWI.
They transported troops to the Battle of the Marne.
This helped halt the German advance.
