Turner Sports Cars, a British auto manufacturer, was founded by Jack Turner in 1951.
Turner initially produced affordable, lightweight sports cars using mostly Austin components. The company ceased production in 1966.
A little-known fact: Jack Turner built his first car, the Turner Special, in his spare time. It was so impressive, it led to the creation of Turner Sports Cars.
