Tuk-Tuks, also known as auto rickshaws, emerged in Asia. They evolved from cycle rickshaws, gaining popularity post-World War II as a cheap transport.
A lesser-known fact: Bajaj Auto, an Indian manufacturer, initially imported Vespa scooters in the 1950s. They later secured a license to produce their version, leading to the iconic Bajaj auto rickshaw.
