Trident was a British car manufacturer from 1960 to 1974.
The company was founded by Bill Last and Ric Thorpe. They initially produced fiberglass-bodied sports cars.
One little-known fact is that Trident attempted to enter Formula One in 1968. They had commissioned a car, but the project never materialized due to financial constraints.
