Tiga Race Cars, founded by race engineers Howden Ganley and Tim Schenken in 1974, built open-wheel and sports racing cars.
Their most notable success was in sports car racing, particularly in the late 1970s and 1980s with models like the SC79 and SC80.
Did you know Tiga briefly ventured into IndyCar? In the early 1980s, they designed and built an IndyCar chassis, but it didn't achieve significant success and the project was short-lived.
