Rochdale was a British car manufacturer. They were founded in 1948.
The company initially produced fiberglass car bodies. One notable model was the Rochdale Olympic. It was launched in 1960.
The Olympic was innovative. It featured a monocoque construction. Production ceased around 1973.
A lesser-known fact: Rochdale's early bodies were often sold as kits. Enthusiasts could build their own cars. This made Rochdale accessible to amateur builders.
