Every Model
Railton cars, produced from 1933 to 1940, were the creation of Noel Macklin, who sought to combine American mechanicals with British coachwork.
Using a sturdy chassis from Hudson, Railton offered performance at a reasonable price.
A lesser-known story involves the Railton Light Sports Tourer. One was owned by Amy Johnson, the record-breaking aviator. She used it extensively, showcasing the car's speed and reliability. This association boosted Railton's reputation.
