Quadro, now Qooder, is a Swiss manufacturer known for its unique four-wheeled scooters. Founded in 2010 by Luciano Marabese, the company aimed to create a new category of vehicle, blending scooter agility with car-like stability.
The original Quadro 4D was the first tilting four-wheeled scooter on the market, using a hydraulic tilting system.
A little-known fact: The tilting technology was initially developed for a different purpose altogether. Marabese, with a background in motorcycle design, had been exploring ways to improve motorcycle stability in adverse conditions. The tilting system was a spin-off, adapted for scooters, leading to the Quadro's creation.
