Princess was a car marque marketed by the Austin division of British Leyland (BL) from 1975 –1981.
Originally marketed as the Austin Princess from 1975–1978, it was intended to be a luxury car.
A little-known fact: BL planned a hatchback version, but it never materialized due to funding issues.
