Mitsuoka Motors, a Japanese auto company, was founded in 1968. It started as a repair shop and later became a car dealer.
In 1982, Mitsuoka began producing cars with retro styling, often based on British designs. Their cars use Nissan and Mazda chassis.
Did you know Mitsuoka once made a microcar called the MC-1? It was a single-seater, and it was powered by a 50cc engine. It was classified as a moped, so you didn't need a regular driver's license to operate it.
