Every Model
Matford, a fusion of Mathis and Ford, emerged in France in 1934.
Based in Strasbourg, it aimed to produce Ford vehicles for the French market.
The venture faced challenges, including labor disputes and material shortages.
Production ceased during World War II and never resumed afterward.
A lesser-known fact: Matford cars were initially assembled using parts imported from Ford's factory in Dagenham, England.
