Lister, a British marque, began in 1954 with Brian Lister building sports cars in Cambridge. Early models used MG and Jaguar components, achieving racing success.
The "Knobbly" Lister, with its distinctive body, became iconic in the late 1950s. Lister briefly built Jaguar XJS-based cars in the 1980s.
