KVA Automotive, a British firm, gained notoriety in the early 1970s for its replica Ford GT40s.
Founded by Alan Mann, of Alan Mann Racing, the company initially aimed to produce high-quality GT40 reproductions.
KVA's cars were known for their accuracy to the original GT40 design, using a spaceframe chassis.
A lesser-known tale involves KVA supplying cars for the Steve McQueen film "Le Mans" after difficulties were experienced with other GT40 replicas.
