Henry Kaiser, an industrialist, teamed with Joseph Frazer of Graham-Paige.
Their initial success with innovative designs faded in the early 1950s.
Kaiser bought out Frazer's interests and continued independently.
Kaiser cars ceased US production in 1955, shifting focus to Jeep.
A little-known fact: Kaiser explored aluminum car bodies in the early 50s.
They partnered with Reynolds Metals, creating a few Kaiser Reynolds prototypes.
The high cost of aluminum and manufacturing complexities shelved the project.
