Jeep's story began in 1941, answering the U.S. Army's call for a light reconnaissance vehicle. Willys-Overland won the contract, producing the iconic "Willys MB," a workhorse in WWII.

A little-known fact: During WWII, Jeep produced a right-hand drive version of the Willys MB for the British military. These models, designated as the "Willys MB RHD," were primarily used by the Royal Air Force.
