Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) was founded in 1991 by John Hennessey.
Initially, Hennessey focused on modifying Japanese sports cars.
The company gained prominence in the late 1990s with its Venom performance upgrades for the Dodge Viper.
Hennessey later expanded into building its own hypercars, such as the Venom GT and Venom F5.
Did you know Hennessey actually started out small, tuning imports? John Hennessey wasn't always about breaking speed records with supercars. He initially made a name for himself modifying Mitsubishi 3000GTs and Toyota Supras. It's a cool reminder that even the biggest names often have humble beginnings.
