Hawk cars emerged post-World War II, crafted by the Studebaker Corporation.
The name "Hawk" first appeared in 1956 with the Golden Hawk, a stylish hardtop coupe.
A lesser-known tale involves Studebaker's attempt to revive the Hawk. After Studebaker ceased US production in 1966, a Swiss company acquired rights to the Hawk design, planning a modernized version. However, this project never materialized, leaving only design sketches and unfulfilled dreams.
