Every Model
GSM, or Glass Sport Motors, emerged in South Africa in 1958. Founded by Bob van Niekerk and Willie Meissner, it produced sports cars using fiberglass bodies.
Their initial model, the Dart, gained popularity in local racing. Later, the Flamingo coupe was introduced. Production ceased in the mid-1960s.
A little-known fact: GSM faced challenges due to import restrictions in South Africa. They cleverly used locally sourced components whenever possible to circumvent these limitations.
