Falcon was an automobile manufactured by Ford in the U.S. from 1960 to 1970. Ford designed it as an affordable compact car. It was a sales success, with over one million units sold in its first two years.
Did you know Ford considered naming the Falcon "Futura?" The name was ultimately used for a Falcon trim package and later a Ford model.
