Ever heard of the EMF? It was a short-lived car company, a collaboration between Barney Everitt, William Metzger, and Walter Flanders, hence the name. They aimed to produce reliable, affordable cars.
The company started in 1909, but by 1912, it was fully absorbed by Studebaker.
Here's a little-known fact: Before EMF, Walter Flanders was instrumental in streamlining Ford's production. He applied those efficiency methods to EMF, which helped them produce cars quickly and at a lower cost.
