Every Model
Edsel, a division of Ford, debuted in 1957 for the 1958 model year.
Named after Henry Ford's son, expectations were high, fueled by extensive marketing.
However, the cars were considered unattractive and sales were poor.
The Edsel was discontinued in 1960 after only three model years.
A lesser-known fact: Ford extensively surveyed potential buyers about their ideal car before Edsel's launch.
However, the final design deviated significantly from the survey results, contributing to its failure.
