Chevron was a British racing car manufacturer founded in 1965 by Derek Bennett.
Bennett, a self-taught engineer, initially built cars for his own racing. His designs quickly gained recognition for their innovative engineering and performance.
Chevron cars achieved success in various racing categories, including sports car racing and Formula racing.
A lesser-known story: Chevron almost entered Formula 1 in the early 1970s. A design was commissioned, but the project was shelved due to financial constraints.
